The Loungewear Set

Most trends stem from somewhere, and due to current circumstances it is no surprise that loungewear is hot right now. It's comfortable, simple and easy to style with a pair of white trainers and a statement handbag. Here are the sets I'm loving right now.

The Sustainable Set- Pangaia

New to the market are Pangaia, an eco-conscious, future thinking brand with minimal well-crafted designs for everyone (the kids included). They make to order to avoid over-production which is their main goal. They also create their unisex products with recycled materials and environmentally friendly dyes, writing on each product what it is made from and dyed with for complete transparency. Mix and match their products which all seem to compliment one another well, or opt to have your top and bottoms match for a more co-ordinated look.

The Tie Dye Set- Iets Frans

DIY is something that has been keeping people occupied during isolation, and although tie-dye was due to be on the rise before the pandemic, everyones collective boredom has only elevated this trend. This summery set is perfect for the coming months to add some brightness to your day.

The Cozy Set- Skims

Although Kim Kardashian West's shape-wear brand wasn't off to a great start with controversy surrounding the original brand name, I can't deny the attraction of her cozy lounge sets. Consisting of pants, shorts, tanks and robes in 3 complimentary colours, they would look fantastic worn with a pair of slippers by the fireplace.

The Warm Weather Set- Missguided

The problematic nature of fast fashion brands aside, Missguided have been providing young women with simple affordable fashion for some time now and their impact on the industry can't be overlooked. With thousands of styles available on their website which is updated daily, there is usually something for everyone. This cycling shorts and cropped tank set is easy to style and add layers to, and is available in 3 colour options. It's versatile and can be worn casually at home or dressed up for the festivals we can't attend.

The Classic Set- Les Tien

Back to basics, Les Tien offer unisex high-quality essentials in classic fits and a range of beautiful rich colours. Their product range is minimal, just like their pieces and they offer sweatpants, shorts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and socks. Everything you need to put together the perfect outfit for lounging in.

The Flare Set- Lounge

Lounge have been providing Instagram girls with underwear for years now, but it's no surprise given their name, they also offer loungewear sets too. My favourite is this ribbed flare trouser and crop two-piece which is beautifully feminine and affordable.

The Yoga Set- Alo Yoga

I fell in love with Alo Yoga when I first stumbled across one of their stores when I was wandering NYC. They offer activewear for men and women with the most gorgeous colour palette. I was instantly drawn to their pink hues and high quality feel, and not to mention they are sweatshop free.

The Pyjama Set- Olivia Von Halle

What better outfit to lounge in than one you can climb straight into bed in too? Especially on the days we're not even leaving the house, Olivia Von Halle have us covered. Their luxurious silk sets come in a lovely range of colours and prints. Pair one of their shorts sets like this one with some sandals and a cross body bag and nobody need know you're wearing pyjamas out the house.
